Doctor Who: The Blood Cell – James Goss

[rating:3/5]

For my first experience reading a Doctor Who book, I found this to be very enjoyable and in keeping with the theme and tone of the television series.

The book is a quick read, and since I was reading an ‘uncorrected proof’ you could find several minor mistakes in the sentences (“In” instead of “If”). I would definitely recommend this book to any Doctor Who fan.

My main issue with the book overall was the inconsistency with the image and description of the Doctor. It would seem that this was written with the Eleventh Doctor in mind, however at the end there was a quick ‘oops’ and it was attempted to push the character to be the Twelfth Doctor.
